Tiger Conservation

Tigers are losing their habitat and are very much under threat. There are probably just over 4,000 tigers left in the wild today. In just over a hundred years tiger numbers have declined by about 95%.

Tigers basically need three things – space to roam, sufficient prey to feed on and protection from poaching. People need to care enough to actually change things on the ground. Thankfully there are a number of organisations trying to help, including WWF, Born Free, TigerWatch Village Guardians and our friends at TOFTigers (www.toftigers.org).
